MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
Subj: Board Meeting, Minutes of July 14, 2010
1. Subject board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. The following personnel were present:
Warren Ross, President; William Pearman, Superintendent; Gladys Parks, Vice President; Bridgett Fessler, Recorder; Donna Morrison, Treasurer; Ronnie Garr, Member.
Absent Members: Angie Billue, Jennifer White.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and discussed. Donna-Motion, Ronnie-Seconded, Board unanimous.
Bills were reviewed and approved. Donna-Motion, Gladys-Seconded, Board unanimous to accept all expenses.
Treasurer’s Report - Reference Financial Status of Accounts – There is four CD’s maturing in July. Gladys-Motion, Donna-Seconded, Board unanimous to accept Financial Status of Accounts and for Bill to do with maturing CD’s as financially feasible.
Superintendents Report – For the month of June 2010 - 79 calls, 41 non-emergency transfers, 11 emergency transfers, 27 no-transports, totaling $48,708.00 billable.
Bill presented his time sheets to Warren for approval.
John received orthoscopic surgery on his knee on 7-12 and has begun physical therapy. His shifts will be covered until cleared to return to work.
Health Insurance Agreement – Jamie Bowyer and John Stanfield has received $1,500.00 compensation for the insurance opt-out plan.
Board Member Training was held on July 9th at the Lodge of Four Seasons. Bill attended the MAA Member Meeting on July 8th for “Just Culture” training.
Blood drive was held on July 14, 2010.
Summer uniform T-shirts have been purchased from Kenneth Duff of Keytesville. Bids were received from Kenneth, and Peggy Rice.
Uniform Allowance – An updated Pay Schedule was passed out to reflect the raise in uniform allowance.
A $250.00 Wal-Mart grant was received. Eric Pearman, First Responder, applied for the grant for his volunteer service with the District.
The Chariton County Ambulance District is now involved in a pilot program for PSO. The PSO is the Patient Safety Organization, which gathers information nationally to monitor crash data and patient care discrepancies.
A school bus was purchased for $1.00 from the Salisbury School District for a school bus extrication class, which will be held later this fall.
Due to some scheduling conflicts the August Board Meeting will be held August 4th along with the Tax Levy Hearing.
Ronnie-Motion, Donna-Seconded, Board unanimous to accept Superintendent’s Report.
2. Old Business:
A. Electronic Patient Care Reporting – Intermedix performed a demo this week. TriTech will be performing a demo at the end of this month. Zoll will be performing another demo in August. Discussion will be made after all demo’s completed on best options. Tabled.
3. New Business:
A. Liability Insurance Renewal – Renewal policy is $12,110.00, which reflects an increase from the previous year. Discussion was made with the decision to renew our current policy. Gladys-Motion, Donna-Seconded, Board unanimous.
B. Revised 2009-10 Budget – An amended fiscal budget presented and discussed. Donna-Motion, Ronnie-Seconded, Board unanimous.
No further business. Donna-Motion, Gladys-Seconded, Board unanimous to adjourn meeting at 7:35 p.m.

1. Subject board meeting was called to order at 7:46 p.m.
The following personnel were present:
Warren Ross, President; William Pearman, Superintendent; Gladys Parks, Vice President; Bridgett Fessler, Recorder; Donna Morrison, Treasurer; Ronnie Garr, Member.
Absent Members: Angie Billue and Jennifer White
Personnel issue was discussed. Roll call vote to remove Adam Mauzey from PRN employee list. Donna-yes, Ronnie-yes, Gladys-yes, Warren-yes. A certified letter will be given to Adam regarding removal and an option to return to work when available.
No further business. Gladys-Motion, Ronnie-Seconded, Board unanimous to adjourn meeting at 8:55 p.m.
